I'm Hooked On Airdrops (What I Did This Week)
Chronicling my one-week adventure of farming airdrops
Hey there,
Ever since I saw how much people made from the Arbitrum airdrop, I’ve decided to get my hands dirty and attempt to qualify for upcoming airdrops.
With some extra time this week, here were some of the airdrops that I’m eyeing:
Airdrops I’m Looking At
#1 Shardeum
This EVM-compatible Layer-1 blockchain has allocated some of its future tokens for airdrops,
and the best part is that it’s still currently in the testnet stage, so you do not need to pay anything to try out this network!
If you’re interested, I’ve done a previous video on this airdrop,
and after playing around a bit more with this network, I’ve found some other ways to qualify for the airdrop too. I’ll upload this video once I’ve finished editing it.
In the meantime, I’d appreciate it if you could use my invite link to Shardeum’s Crew3 questboard, which could help with the airdrop!
Moreover, you could help me get a SharDEX soulbound token if you use my referral link here.
You can invite your friends too and get your token!
#2 Consensys zkEVM (Linea)
With the launch of Polygon’s zkEVM, as well as zkSync Era, Consensys wanted a piece of the pie by launching the testnet of its zkEVM (rebranded as Linea).
There’s been rumours of Consensys (the company behind Metamask) wanting to launch a token, and taking part in this testnet could help in getting some allocation of the token.
I did a video guide of this airdrop, which you can try out for free too:
There were also huge rumours about Metamask doing a snapshot on 31st March 2023 for the future airdrop, but this was subsequently debunked by the company.

Nevertheless, if you’d still want to try out the activities to qualify for the airdrop, I did a video on that too:
Disclaimer: I burned almost $30 USD in fees (by Metamask as well as gas fees), and I’d not recommend this if you do not have much cash on hand to perform these actions.
#3 Orbiter Finance
This bridge has been my go-to platform when bridging to different Layer-2s like Polygon’s zkEVM, zkSync Era, and StarkNET.
I really like bridging ETH to these networks from the Polygon network, as the gas fees are super cheap on this network, compared to the likes of Arbitrum and Optimism.
Currently, Orbiter Finance has a guild that you can access, and this could determine your future airdrop allocation.
Here’s my video on how to qualify for this airdrop:
Disclaimer: each bridging transaction costs around $3 USD in fees that are charged by Orbiter, with around another $1 USD in fees that you’ll pay for gas.
#4 Scroll
Another zkEVM to keep an eye out for is Scroll, which is lesser known compared to the other big players.
They’re still in their testnet, and I’m currently doing a video on how to qualify for this too.
#5 Sui
The Sui network has just launched its permanent testnet,

and it could be just months before they launch their mainnet.
This is one of the more highly anticipated drops, so trying to get some tokens from their faucet may be quite a problem.
I’ll be doing a video soon on how to get the testnet SUI tokens, so do look out for it on my YouTube channel!
You can also try out some projects on the Sui network in the meantime, and they have Crew3 questboards which you can complete. This includes:
Other Notable Mentions
Here are some others that I’m kinda passively farming, and may be doing videos on them soon:
Dew
Dew is an NFT aggregator on the Polygon network.

I personally do not really trade NFTs, but you can use my invite link to try it out.
Norion
This platform tries to help you to find upcoming airdrops all in the convenience of one platform.

It’s still in its very early stages, and you can use my invite link to their Crew3 questboard, as they are currently having a sprint until 4th April.
Conclusion
After going down this rabbit hole, I’ve realised that there are so many airdrops that you could potentially qualify for.
The best are those that are still in the testnet stage, so you don’t need to spend anything and you could still receive some tokens in the future!
Let me know in the comments what are the airdrops that you’re looking at, and if there are any that you would like me to do a guide on!
