Hey there,
After missing out on the $ARB airdrop, I’ve made a commitment not to be lazy again as this has already cost me thousands of dollars worth of free tokens.
I’ve been busy trying to qualify for various airdrops, so this week’s recap is going to be a short one.
The Top Story: Airdrop season has begun
With $ARB’s successful airdrop, heads have turned to other projects which may launch a token in the future.
One of the major ones is zkSync, and they have just released the zkSync Era Mainnet Alpha, which is a zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine (zkEVM).
You can bridge funds from Ethereum and other Layer 2s to this network, and my guide here shows you how to do so.
Another airdrop that I found is Shardeum, which is a brand-new Layer 1 which is still in testnet.
It could release a token with the mainnet launch, and I’ve recorded my journey in this video 👇
Other airdrops that I’m eyeing include StarkNET, LayerZero and Scroll. I’ll be releasing some video guides once I’ve performed the activities that could potentially qualify for these airdrops.
Other Interesting News
Here are some other fascinating stories from the past week:
Immutable zkEVM 🤝🏻 Polygon
As one of the major players in the crypto gaming industry, Immutable has now launched a zkEVM in partnership with Polygon.

zkEVMs are the hottest Layer 2 scaling solutions now, and this could help make gaming experiences on the blockchain more seamless.
Wells Notice for Coinbase 🤦🏻♂️
Coinbase may be seriously considering pulling out of the US. Despite all of their efforts to comply with unclear regulations, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has hit them with a Wells Notice which could result in enforcement action.

They seem to be in the talks of starting a new platform overseas that does not fall under the SEC’s regulation.

Do Kwon is FINALLY arrested 👮🏻
Almost a year after the Terra Luna crash, Do Kwon has been arrested in Montenegro.
It will be rather interesting to see how holders of TerraUSD and LUNA will be compensated, though I’m not really counting on receiving much.
Send USDT using Telegram
Crypto transfers are now much easier on the Telegram app, after they have allowed buying, selling and transferring via chats.

This will definitely make crypto much more accessible, though I’m wondering which network these assets are actually on.
Binance spot trading experiences a bug 🐜
The world’s largest centralised exchange encountered a bug for a trailing stop order, which resulted in spot trading being halted.

This could highlight the problems with a centralised exchange, and you may want to consider using a decentralised exchange instead.
It’d be best to use one with lots of liquidity, or you can even use DefiLlama’s Swap Aggregator to ensure you always get the best rates.
